Terms of Service

The rules for using WebLab Academy

These terms set expectations for accounts, tutoring, payments, conduct, tutor responsibilities, and platform use.

Using the Platform

WebLab Academy provides an online tutoring marketplace where students can discover tutors, book lessons, manage learning activity, and communicate about lessons. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your login details secure.

Students, parents or guardians, and tutors are responsible for using the platform respectfully and only for learning, tutoring, booking, support, and related communication.

Students and Parents or Guardians

Students should attend lessons on time, complete agreed homework honestly, communicate respectfully, and ask for help when they are stuck. A parent or guardian should supervise account use when required by the student's age or local rules.

Lesson outcomes depend on attendance, effort, tutor fit, and practice. We cannot guarantee specific grades, exam results, or project outcomes.

Tutors

Tutors must keep profile information accurate, teach only subjects they are qualified to support, maintain professional communication, respect student privacy, and honor booked lesson commitments.

Tutor profiles may be reviewed, approved, hidden, or removed if they are incomplete, misleading, unsafe, or do not meet WebLab Academy standards.

Bookings, Payments, and Lesson Credits

Payments are processed through our payment provider. A booking or lesson credit is confirmed only when payment is successfully captured and recorded by the platform.

Refunds, cancellations, rescheduling, and disputed lessons may be reviewed based on attendance records, tutor communication, platform logs, and the circumstances of the request.

Acceptable Conduct

Do not harass others, impersonate someone, upload harmful content, misuse payment flows, attempt unauthorized access, scrape platform data, or move paid tutoring activity off-platform to avoid platform rules.

We may suspend or remove accounts that create safety, fraud, abuse, privacy, or platform integrity risks.

Content and Learning Materials

Tutors and students keep ownership of original materials they create, but grant WebLab Academy the permission needed to store and display those materials inside the platform for lessons, homework, feedback, and support.

Changes and Contact

We may update these terms as the platform grows. Continued use of WebLab Academy after updates means you accept the revised terms.
